Every shortlisted candidate is between 20 and 30 years old. That's deliberate. New-builds quoted today don't sail until 2033 at the earliest, cost three to five times more, and are still untested at sea. A proven, well-maintained hull from a top yard — refitted to current standards — gets you aboard sooner, at a price that lets normal people buy in.
