Everything you wanted to ask, answered.
No. You buy a residence and live onboard. The monthly fee covers everything except school tuition and a few extras. Come and go as you please — fly home, stay aboard, host friends in port. It's a home that happens to circumnavigate the world.
Studios start at $170,000 (170 sq ft / ~16 m² minimum) on a 5- or 15-year term. One-bedroom apartments from $550,000 (lifetime). Dog-deck cabins from $250,000. Family suites with children-and-dog accommodation from $1.5M. Two-bedroom penthouses to $2.8M. Reservation deposits start at just $1,000 and are 100% refundable.
Our shortlisted hulls are between 20 and 30 years old. This is deliberate: proven seakeeping, available now (2028 sail vs 2033+ for new-builds), and a full modern refit costs a fraction of a new build. Every candidate undergoes a complete pre-sail refit — engines, safety systems, cabins, technology, Starlink, and dog facilities — to current standards before the first resident moves aboard.
No. All imagery on this website is illustrative — stock, AI-rendered, or reference photography used to convey atmosphere and intent. Final ship selection is in progress. Depositors receive real photography, deck plans, and full specifications under NDA, and there will be in-person ship viewing days for Navigator and Captain's Circle members.
Yes — and we're the only residential ship that allows it. Sirius has 100 dedicated dog cabins on Deck 11, a 300m² fully-enclosed rooftop dog park, a 400m walking circuit, an onboard vet clinic and supervised doggy daycare. The library, spa, theatre and several restaurants are entirely dog-free. All dogs are subject to a case-by-case review (temperament, health, vaccination history, breed and size considerations) prior to acceptance — admission is not guaranteed.
In roughly 60% of ports, yes — they walk off freely. About 25% require advance paperwork and prep. About 15% have strict import rules and your dog stays aboard with full park access and professional handlers. Quarantine and import rules are set by each country and remain the resident's responsibility — our shore team helps you prepare paperwork in advance for every call.
Yes — children aged 7 and over, up to 100 onboard at any time. They have a dedicated family deck, a children's pool, a teen room, and access to the Sirius School (Cambridge-aligned curriculum, ages 7–16). School tuition is charged separately from the monthly residency fee — final pricing in offering documents.
Absolutely — many founding residents are remote workers and entrepreneurs. Starlink gigabit internet covers every cabin and public space. The ship has a two-storey co-working library with quiet rooms, soundproofed Zoom pods, hot-desks and a barista bar. Your office moves with you.
All meals, crew, fuel, port charges, entertainment, Starlink internet, spa & gym access, onboard medical, the dog program, and supervised doggy daycare on shore days. School tuition, premium dining venues, alcohol, personal shore excursions, and dog program fees are charged separately. Final fee structure in offering documents.
Yes — 100%. Any time before the purchase agreement is signed. No questions asked. All deposits are reservation deposits, not investments.
We're targeting 2028. Ship acquisition is underway and depositors are kept updated through every milestone — survey, refit decisions, route votes. Launch date is a target, not a guarantee, and may move with survey findings or refit scope.
A doctor is on permanent contract and the clinic handles routine and urgent care. Telemedicine for specialists. Routes are planned to keep the ship within medevac range of a hospital, and medevac insurance is included. The onboard clinic is not a hospital — serious cases are stabilised aboard and transferred ashore.
Entrepreneurs, remote workers, retirees, digital-nomad families with children, and dog owners who refuse to leave their dogs behind. United by a love of slow travel and real community.
Storylines is a new build with a long timeline. The World requires a $1M+ minimum and is adults-only ultra-luxury. Sirius uses a proven, fully-refitted hull, starts at $170k, gives you a full week per port (not 1–2 days), welcomes children aged 7+ AND is the ONLY residential ship in the world with a dedicated dog program.
